SAMSON - A Videoinstallation by Herr Schobel

The concept deals with the subject of "headbanging", a special suburban dance phenomenon, which is practiced primarily in the world of heavy metal music. Closer study of the actions involved, show an intensly rhythmic up and down movement that draws the headbanger's hair into the centre of the viewer's attention accompanied by music from Sunn O))).
